Hand painted Scarf with machine hem. Scarf is made of delicately painted, lustrous and sensuous silk crepe de chine , it drapes beautifully and is pleasant to the touch. It is painted with dyes and steam set so the fabric feels nice and soft to the touch. The designs are done free hand so it is hard to replicate. The dyes flow and interact with each other differently every time I make it and that is what makes it fun.

Each design and scarf is done with love and I hope you will enjoy wearing it as much as I
enjoyed watching it come alive or if it is a gift I hope it brings pleasure to the person you give it as a gift

Care instructions: Hand wash silk separately and delicately in cold water with mild detergent without bleach. Please do not leave it to soak in the water too long as it might cause shrinkage. Hang to dry. Iron from the inside when the silk is still slightly damp on low or silk setting or dry clean it.

Disclaimer: The tiny imperfections which have become a part of the design are due to the silk being painted free hand, any natural flaw in the silk and a part of the charm. And as the proverb goes : “A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections.”
